The Lojtra Association, an association for the personal and professional development of young people, works in two areas, which are often intertwined: sustainable development and youth work. These topics are at the heart of various activities carried out locally and internationally. In the field of youth work, our main goal is to support young people to become active members of their local communities, to identify and actively discuss their needs and interests, and to take full responsibility for their actions (we organize continuous workshop programmes at schools, international youth exchanges and trainings, we facilitated the process of youth strategy, we mentor young people in preparing their own projects,...). In the field of sustainable development, our main purpose is to co-create a community that lives more in harmony with nature and is aware of its limitations. In addition, we want to expand the potential of the natural environment in supporting the learning processes of young and old (we are developing new tools in outdoor based learning, coordinating a community garden, organizing DIY workshops,...). Target groups: young people 13-17, 18-24 and 25-30. youth workers, mentors, volunteers, teachers who are working with young people wider community members and stakeholders (parents, local decision makers, local youth organizations and organizations for young people, farms, organizations in the field of education and local community development,...)
