René Laennec High School is a French secondary and higher education establishment, perfectly located in Pont-l'Abbé (Finistère). It is made up of two EPLEs (local public educational establishments): a general and technological high school with a little over 686 pupils and a vocational high school, with 166 pupils, which includes a special unit of 12 pupils called ULIS that is dedicated to welcome disabled pupils. Also, there is special course dedicated to Tourism and that welcomes 43 students. To finish, we also hosts a High Level Sport Section in Surfing.
Thanks to the diversity of its training courses and the strong specificities present in the high schools, our institution offers young people in the Bigouden Country a wide range of specialities and are taken care of by 86 teachers .
The pedagogical and educational teams are anxious to offer optimal study conditions in order to accompany the young people in their courses and to help them in the construction of their future as citizens. They are mobilized to get the best out of everyone and lead them towards success through enlightened choices for higher education and/or professional integration. We want to have a unique identity for the Lycée Laennec in the international arena and to integrate this opening into the initial training course of the vocational school in order to be identified as such by the various authorities and to have a better visibility of the Vocational School within the Institution
