Municipal Kindergarten No. 2 in Kwidzyn is a public institution operating from 2021 and its goal is to support the individual development of children, creating activities that equalize educational opportunities. We conduct educational and specialist classes and develop talents in kindergarten through the following classes: musical pedagogy, culinary, art and art therapy, origami, according to the method of W. Sherbone, multimedia and educational with an innovative tools, Education Through Movement system, corrective gymnastics and compensatory classes, logotherapy, ecology, English. We participate in projects shaping proper eating habits in children; in the field of security. We develop talents in kindergarten by conducting creative activities on the occasion of various holidays.
Volunteers hosted in the facility, using informal and often alternative teaching methods, are to enrich education and the program of extracurricular activities. We want them to accompany children with their presence, inspire, support learning foreign languages, open up to cultures, strengthen the sense of community - diverse, and build new bonds. We also want volunteers to be able to learn from us how to work with the youngest, learn about educational and upbringing methods, find out how a public facility in Poland works, perhaps create new ideas for activities, develop competences in the field of pedagogy (inclusive pedagogy). We will encourage to develop volunteer’s passion and share knowledge.
