Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU) is research and innovation-oriented higher education institution that was established in May 2018. Beginning from its establishment, ESTU focused on continuous improvement, quality assurance, and internationalization in all fields of activity as its primary strategies for institutional development and modernization. Within the framework of this new formation, ESTU has determined its vision as "to become a university pioneering change and transformation by creating value" and has adopted internationalization as one of the main areas of both this vision and mission. Consequently, the dimension of internationalization has been included as a major focus in the differentiation strategy and ESTU’s strong determination to make a difference in the higher education sector on an international basis has been decisively declared by the top management. In this framework, the internationalization strategy of ESTU has been determined as "to create sustainable innovative value in technology, design and internationalization dimensions through an integrated and participatory management approach". Today, with its 5 Faculties, 2 Vocational Schools, and 3 Institutes, ESTU is taking firm steps toward its goal of becoming a research university. Our primary target group will be European universities. We will concentrate on building proper partnerships with some European universities that we already have within other programs.
