The Local Government Kindergarten No.140 has been operating for over 45 years. There are six groups in the kindergarten. The kindergarten is attended by children from 3 to 6 years old. There are 12 teachers in the kindergarten. There are 150 children from all groups.
The Local Government Kindergarten No.140 is located in a good communication point in the Podgórze district, in the Podwawelskie housing estate. The kindergarten is surrounded by a large garden, which gives the opportunity to play freely and safety in the fresh air. The proximity of the center of Krakow with its uniqe monuments is conducive to children getting to know the goods of culture, gives the opportunity to visit exibitions, museums, participate in cultural activities and events of the city, concerts and theater. Kindergarten teachers and employees form an experienced, creative team to give each child a chance for individual development, to support them in learning and organizing reality. Teachers helps children to discover talents. In our kindergarten, parents co-decide about the koncept of kindergarten work, together we care for a high standard of children’s stay. Our kindergarten is: friendly and safe, educates and helps in a searching and discovering values, open to cooperation with parents and other environments. Our kindergarten aims are to support and develop the child at every level, we pay attention to the safety of the child in the facility. There are also additional classes provided to children
