The Lycée Hôtelier de Dinard is a public vocational education and training school, specialising in the hotel and catering industry. Our school welcomes around 700 students every year, accompanied by around 122 staff members. Courses range from vocational diplomas (CAP) to professional bachelor's degrees. Studies can be undertaken via the school curriculum or as an apprenticeship for the BTS MHR.
The only state-run hotel school in Brittany, the Lycée Hôtelier, provides experienced, dynamic teaching teams and a wide range of high-performance technical facilities. Teaching methods are based on sustainable development and quality issues, which are essential today.
The school is located in an idyllic setting by the sea in Dinard. This tourist area offers a variety of restaurants and hotels in which our students carry out their internships. The school has a strong identity and a positive image that it has built up over time. Our school works in synergy with its town and the surrounding area. More than 800 periods of in-company training are organised each year in France and abroad.
The school has a vast network of partner companies that offer work placements to its students through partnerships with various European countries, Quebec, Japan, Scotland, Africa, Cambodia, Ireland and Jersey.
The Lycée has been awarded the "Lycée des métiers" label, the Qualycée, E3D level 2 and EAC level 1 labels in 2021. It has also generation 2024" and "Euroscol" labels.
