Description of organisation

› Created in 1941, the Centre de Ressources, d'Expertise et de Performance Sportive (CREPS) in Reims moved to its current campus in October 1981. A local public body providing training in the fields of sport, youth and popular education, it is currently under the dual supervision of the State (Ministry of Sport) and the Grand Est Region.

› Its two priority missions are to support and train young elite sportsmen and women, helping them to succeed in their dual sporting and academic projects, and to train future educators in the sports and entertainment professions. It has a large number of institutional partners (Ministry of Sport, DRAJES, Marne Departmental Directorate, the Rectorat and the City of Reims), as well as national, regional and local sports and association partners.
