Beskrivelse av organisasjon

The “Westfalia Bildungszentrum e.V.” was founded in 1995 by committed citizens of Dortmund and has been active in the field of education, upbringing and integration for 26 years. It sees knowledge and education as the key to better integration.

Integration is achieved on the one hand through active participation in social life in Germany and on the other through learning the German language. Furthermore, this goal can be achieved by promoting the peaceful coexistence of all nationalities, religions and cultures through educational work.

It is also dedicated to cultural and social development and takes responsibility for participation in social life. For over 20 years, education has been made accessible to more than a thousand socially disadvantaged people of all ages. In cooperation with other private and state institutions - such as the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees - it has been able to successfully promote the social, educational and professional lives of its fellow citizens.
