Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Somos La Otra was founded for a group of people with a long experience working in youth and social issues as a platform of project development. Since its founding its goals have been to configure it as a support and collaboration group for personal, community, social and cultural development; promote and facilitate communication, exchange of ideas and cooperation between different social and cultural agents, and develop an appropriate framework to promote the motivation and implementation of social participation actions.
To achieve these goals, the following general objectives are established:
-Design and implementation of social, cultural, educational (mainly non-formal education) and sports activities aimed at creating development spaces for young people who, in turn, can identify with them.
-Promotion of interaction between people of different cultures, ages, social realities and beliefs and other characteristics in order to deepen diversity, miscegenation and inclusion.
- Promotion of the well-being of the youth population through its social, cultural, educational and training development; quality employment and social justice; and the establishment of healthy life parameters and environments.
-Stimulation of the free exchange of points of view on various topics of interest and participation in the democratic life of their communities.
-Creation of networks between different groups and public and private institutions, promoting cooperative relationships.
