Kerek Világ Alapítvány, based in Pécs, was founded in response to the growing need for comprehensive support for individuals with disabilities, particularly those with intellectual and physical challenges. Since its inception in 1990, the foundation has focused on providing a holistic range of services that cater to the diverse needs of its beneficiaries.

The foundation operates several key institutions, including:

Developmental Centre: This facility offers day-care services for children and young adults with severe disabilities. It provides personalised therapeutic programmes such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, and cognitive development to improve the overall quality of life.

Special School for Vocational Training: Here, young people with disabilities receive tailored education that prepares them for the workforce. The vocational training includes practical skills like woodworking, gardening, and crafts, aiming to enhance their independence and employability.

Residential Care: The foundation runs housing facilities where individuals with disabilities can live semi-independently with support, creating a safe and nurturing environment for those who may need ongoing care.
