Description of organisation

Live Room is a project of human development by the creation of a physical/digital space to promote and explore artistic live expression.
The project started in 2015 as a collective and then registered legally the association in 2018 and finally opened in 2020 the LABO center, one of the top socio-cultural hubs in the region of Tangier (North of Morocco) with +3000 users per year. Live Room’s main target are youths and children from 10 to 25 years old whom mostly are suffering from social issues.
In LABO, we work under three axes: Creative skills development; Promoting economic independent; Cultural research and development. We mainly offer long-term and short-term cultural training programs for youth and kids and many positive-impact events raising awareness about social problems and helping to improve our community. Live Room is also considered one of the leaders in cultural production in the region especially for emergent artists and is organizing every year the Urban Art Week Festival of Tangier.
