Kosti ry is a regional network association. We work with and for associations in the whole Central Ostrobothnia area, but our office and main activities are located in Kokkola.

Kosti ry's goals are to support local and regional associations, supervise their interests and activate local associations and people. We develop the cooperation of associations that promote people's well-being in Central Ostrobothnia and monitor their interests.We support associations to enable volunteering activities and we act as a center for creativity and learning.

Our activities are open for everyone, but especially we want to support people who need social interaction, those in danger of being marginalized or in a challenging life situation, people experiencing loneliness and experiencing digital challenges.We arrange meetings, educational events, peer support groups, local volunteer meetings, have association meeting days with different themes and open activities for local people, and we participate in different meetings and committees and represent third sector interests there.We have weekly programmes locals can participate without cost and without previous registration. These are simple clubs or theme days to promote activity and bring more social contacts to the lives of local people. These can be discussion groups on different topics, handicraft courses, brain twisters, senior coffees, digital advice etc.
