Description of organisation

TÜRGEV (Turkish Youth and Education Service Foundation), as a foundation established in 1996, serves to contribute to the education of young people and to protect cultural heritage. Our Istanbul-based work is carried out with 21 girls' dormitories and 4 education campuses throughout Turkey. Our aim is to ensure that self-confident, researching and productive young people contribute to the future of Turkey. Our mission is to support the development of young people, to give them awareness about their future tasks and to enable them to be effective in international platforms.

Our main activities include youth education, personal development, entrepreneurship, mentoring and organisations promoting volunteering. We serve a total of 7,756 students in 35 higher education and 10 secondary education level girls' dormitories in 24 cities. With the TÜRGEV Academy Project, we teach young people scientific working principles and help them develop their social skills. We also offer special training for young employees in areas such as youth problems, family relations, leadership and communication skills.

TÜRGEV supports the individual development of students with workshops in the fields of cultural, sports and social innovation, while also carrying out projects in the field of psychological health. By supporting the academic and professional development of students, we contribute to their career planning and encourage them to be involved in active participation processes.
