The Lycée Touchard Washington comprises a general and technological high school with 1,800 students and a vocational section with over 500 students and apprentices. More than 300 adults, teachers and non-teaching staff, supervise and support these learners, from 3rd year vocational preparatory classes to higher technician classes and preparatory classes for engineering and business schools. In the general field, learners prepare the baccalaureat in three years and can choose géopolitics, economy, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, and English literature as seminars. The technology classes are about tertiary (management, law, accounting) or industry (architecture, energy, electronics..). The Lycée Touchard-Washington has been developing Erasmus+ projects since 2014 and has been accredited since 2021. The school provides group mobility for pupils, long and short-term learning mobility for pupils and training for staff through structured courses and observation periods. This is also the case in the vocational section and for higher education. Our school also hosts staff for jobshadowing. People also come from other continents as part of partnerships with associations (AFS) or pairings (Canada). These exchanges enable the school to set up workshops focusing on interculturality, the development of languages and about our accreditation objectives (climate, well-being, digital education, inclusion). Our school has been awarded the Euroscol expert label.
