Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Raasiku School is a public basic school and kindergarten located in the rural area of Estonia in Raasiku parish. Our main activity is to provide formal and informal education to Raasiku and surrounding areas youngsters. Our target group is 7-16 year old students, with approximately 200 pupils currently enrolled. The school offers basic education with distinctive added value through extensive STEAM elements, physical movement integration, mental health support components, and an entrepreneurial orientation within our curriculum. This entrepreneurial focus equips our students with initiative-taking skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and practical business knowledge relevant to today's rapidly evolving world.

Our organization can provide comprehensive support for volunteers, including practical assistance, mentorship, and meaningful integration into our school community. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with innovative STEAM activities, support physical education programs, contribute to mental health initiatives, and participate in entrepreneurial education projects while developing their own skills and competencies.
By hosting volunteers, we aim to create a mutually beneficial exchange that enhances our students' international awareness, supports our educational goals, and offers valuable growth opportunities for young volunteers within our school and kindergarten.
