Beskrivelse av organisasjon

Liepaja State Technical School (LSTS) is a modern vocational education institution located in western Latvia. Our mission is to provide high-quality vocational education and training that meets the needs of today’s labour market, while fostering students' personal growth and active citizenship.

The school offers a wide range of vocational programmes in areas such as engineering, information technology, electronics, design, hospitality, and renewable energy. Our training combines theoretical knowledge with strong practical skills through collaboration with regional employers and international partners.

Our target groups include young people aged 15–25 seeking initial vocational education, as well as adults pursuing further training or career change. We focus on inclusive education, promoting equal opportunities for all students, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We aim to strengthen European cooperation, improve the quality of vocational education, and foster intercultural dialogue through mobility and strategic partnerships, building on our active participation in Erasmus+ and other international networks.
