FabLab Cuenca was born in 2015, has been the 1st Fabrication laboratory in CLM. We are a space for innovation open to citizenship.

Our mission is to provide access to the tools and the knowledge to innovate and invent using technology and digital fabrication to allow anyone to make “almost” anything.

We are a digital fabrication facility providing the community access to a wide range of fabrication technologies that allow them to turn their ideas into new prototypes and products.

Our main activity is educational, we are dedicated to teach digital manufacturing through free software, 3D printing and new techniques of digital creation.

We work with different groups, collaborating with enterprises, creatives, schools, local government, private institutions and NGOs.

Some of our activities are open to everyone with an idea or problem to solve, but the main target groups are:
- Youth
- Women
- Disabled people
- unemployed & entrepreneurs
- artisans & inventor
- teachers

we especially focus our work on digital literacy, reaching the risk of exclusion groups, developing specific content to create equality, inclusion and encouraging the community to find unique solutions to unique problems.
