Description de l'organisation

Bakcsó Association for Nature, Culture and Leisure Sports was founded in December 2020 in Tiszalúc, Hungary. Its main goal is to support the personal and social development of young people with fewer opportunities through learning, volunteering and community participation. The organisation focuses on environmental education, youth work, active citizenship and solidarity. Its programmes take place in Tiszalúc and Debrecen, where young people take part in hands-on learning, local actions and community initiatives promoting sustainable lifestyles. Bakcsó has international experience in implementing youth exchanges and youth worker mobility projects and contributes to improving the quality of youth work in the region by organising annual professional conferences for youth workers and local stakeholders. The association also promotes green awareness through upcycling workshops, community hikes and public events. Bakcsó aims to empower young people to become active, responsible and open-minded European citizens by developing their creativity, initiative and environmental awareness, building a more inclusive and sustainable community for all.
