The International Active Cities Association is a non-profit civil society organization established in 2020 in Istanbul, Türkiye. The association aims to build a healthy, active, and solidarity-based society through sport and physical activity for all. Its main goal is to help young people discover their potential, support their personal and professional development, and empower them to take active roles in their communities. The association implements Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects to increase young people's participation in social life. It organizes activities focused on volunteering, inclusion, digital skills, climate action, and social entrepreneurship. Through trainings, youth exchanges, and awareness campaigns, it promotes intercultural learning and active citizenship. Additionally, it encourages physical activity and healthy living through events such as canoeing, nature walks, and beach clean-ups. Its main target groups are young people aged 13–30, youth workers, and office employees. The association aims to strengthen solidarity, volunteering, and active citizenship in line with European values.
