Stowarzyszenie Na Drodze Ekspresji (SNDE has been operating in Sopot since 2004. For over 20 years, it has supported people in their daily lives and community activities. It helps people with disabilities and those experiencing mental health crises to live independently, actively, and take part in social life. At the same time, it strengthens local communities, promotes civic engagement, and creates spaces for cooperation among residents, organizations, and institutions. The organization’s mission is to bring people to action, support those in need as well as develope civic activities in non-governmental sector . SNDE builds communities based on mutual respect, partnership, and commitment. Every day, it runs four key projects, which organisation plans to open to European Solidarity Corps volunteers: 1) Supported Housing Team “Na Gigancie” – helps adults with disabilities on their path toward independent living 2) Akademia Don Kichota – supports adults with disabilities in developing social, professional, and artistic skills 3) Sopot Neighbourhood Houses – spaces for cooperation and neighbourly relations where residents can implement their ideas, organize events, and meet others 4) Sopot Centre for NGOs and Volunteering – a place that supports local organizations and promotes the development of volunteering SNDE is a team of people guided by passion, empathy, and professionalism. It operates according to the values of responsibility, openness, partnership, and solidarity.
