Georgian Diaspora Association “Sakartvelo” is a non-governmental organization based in Poland, established to support Georgian emigrants and their families. Its main goal is to help Georgians preserve their cultural identity, maintain a connection with their homeland, and successfully integrate into Polish society based on mutual respect and intercultural cooperation. The association implements educational, cultural, and social initiatives aimed at helping especially children and young people adapt to a new environment without losing their Georgian roots while embracing European values. Regular activities include a Georgian weekend school, dance studio, library, language courses, and folklore events that promote learning and sharing of cultural heritage. “Sakartvelo” also fosters dialogue and cooperation between Georgians and Poles through joint cultural events, exhibitions, and performances. These initiatives encourage intercultural understanding, strengthen European solidarity, and contribute to building an inclusive community where different cultures coexist and learn from one another. Target groups: Georgian children, youth, and families in Poland; members of the diaspora seeking integration support; local communities interested in Georgian culture; and European Solidarity Corps volunteers engaged in cultural and educational projects.
