Our organization’s aim is to promote intercultural education, understanding, solidarity and peace through voluntary service. Every year we organize a number of workcamps where we host around 150 volunteers from all around the world. This project aims at recognition of competences developed by short term volunteering, registering how does it affect participants views on society. Gathered data will be used for promotion of international voluntary service and the values it brings. A participant will work in SPW office and will get an insight look into international voluntary service and work in an NGO: conducting research, organizing and animating meetings and workshops, cooperation with people and organisations from all around the world, visiting various projects around Poland.
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation: Shared flat. Possibility of sharing a room with other volunteer. Located in the suburbs of Warsaw. Local transport: Monthly tickets for city transport in Warsaw provided during the whole stay. Food: Volunteer receives adequate food allowance (app. 100 EUR a month) Pocket money: 85 EUR a month Travel budget is 275 EUR (both ways).

TranslateVolunteer profile
We are looking for someone interested in youth work, international voluntary service, discovering different cultures. Candidate should be willing to learn and work in international environment, be open for contact with people. The project consists of both office work (gathering data, producing website content, electronic communication) and field work (meetings, workshops, traveling around various workcamp projects).
