Mobility and transports Department: The young volunteer will participate in the realisation of communication tools to promote the Strasbourg tramway, and in particular its extension to the German neighbour City of Kehl, which represents a modern symbol of the friendship between France and Germany. He/She will be involved in the organization of events to promote the tramway extension in France as well as in the "Ortenau" region of Germany.
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
The young volunteer will have his own bedroom in a Strasbourg student residence. He receive money for meals. The city of Strasbourg will make arrangements for meals and to make the moving of the voluneer easier through the city. French language courses will be provided through the online linguistic support.
TranslateTraining during the project
The volunteer will take part at trainings organised by the National Agency. Before the beginning of his voluntary, in august 2017, he has to take part on a 2 weeks preparation, which included french courses, administrative tasks and many other interesting activities. This seminar is good to meet other volunteers. It's organised by the coordinating organisation ICE-RF. 2 months and 8 months after the beginning the volunteer is invited to take part on another seminars organised by ICE-RF.

Due to some cooperation between european cities, applications from Stuttgart are appreciated. - A motivated young boy or girl from 18 to 30 years old, - ready to give 9 months of your time to others. - interested in discovering French culture. You have: - basic knowledge in French language and would like to improve it.
