Romanian volunteer in "La Filature"

Cultural Centre ‘’La Filature’’ is in Bazancourt, a town in the Marne department located 15 km from Reims, the biggest town of the department with about 200 000 inhabitants. Cultural Centre ‘’La Filature’’ is a multi-disciplinary and multicultural center open to everybody to exchange and share practices. It has a 150 seats auditorium, a multimedia library and a common room in which local non-profit organizations are hosted. Volunteer assists to implement the cultural and artistic program that is made of performances, cinema projections, conferences, exhibitions, workshops (Literature, Music, Artchitecture, Arts, Culinary, Customs…) Volunteer is also expected to organize various events, language workshops, activities for children in order that local community would get to know about the culture and traditions of his/her country of origin. Alojamiento, manutención y transporte

Volunteer will be accommodated in a fully equipped flat in Bazancourt. Money will be received to cover local transport and food expenses.

Perfil del voluntario

Volunteer should be with a positive attitude, open-minded and responsible. S/He should be willing to develop and implement intercultural events or actions for the local community, be ready to take creative initiatives and have a good capacity to adapt. Basic knowledge of French is very helpful.
