"SVE-risterio" EVS project in ITALY

Opis projektu

We are searching for 2 VOLUNTEERS FROM HUNGARY for an EVS PROJECT IN ITALY! The municipality of Macerata implements an EVS project for volunteers who take part in staging the opera season of the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata during the summer 2017. The Festival wants to share its experience and treasures of art, opening the backstage to highly motivated young volunteers to: - Make direct experience of how an opera festival is prepared, the complex structure that characterizes it and how they interact arts and professions of the show; - Acquire knowledge and skills useful in the world of work, both on personal, relational and professional level through non-formal education courses, where young people will be invited to observe and assist the workers of the Festival (technical stage, toolmakers, tailors, stage managers). According to their abilities the volunteers will be assigned to a particular sector (office production, stage, costume, props, promotion office).

Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

The municipality rents 2 apartments near the town centre where the volunteers can live during all the project in double rooms. In the matter of food the volunteer will receive on the beginning of each month 140 euros. Furthermore they will receive 110 euros (pocket money) each month to satisfy their own needs, as decided by the project Erasmus +. The travel will be organized by the sending organizations, the tickets will be bought by the volunteer and the Municipality will give back money on arrival (maximum 275€). Cigna insurance package will be provided to the the volunteers.

Szkolenia w trakcie projektu

Pre-departure training held by the Hungarian sending organization. The volunteers will attend the OLS (Online Linguistic Support) course to gain some knowledge of Italian language, as provided by the Erasmus + programme. The Municipality will organize an intensive language course during the first 2 weeks of the project.

Profil wolontariusza

The young candidates must have a strong motivation to participate in a project as volunteers, so willing to get involved, to learn, to observe and to grow from a human and professional point of view. They must have a strong adaptability and flexibility, willingness to work in a group, in multicultural contexts and even in stressful situations. The organizers do not look for particular professional profiles but the project can meet the expectations of young people who have experience or training in the arts, music, crafts, opera, theater, media, and who possess a basic knowledge of Italian.
