The Residence Sainte-Anne d’Auray offers to people aged over 60 having or not Alzheimer’s disease and their families (living in Châtillon or in surrounding cities) a personalized answer to their expectations: permanent residence, temporary accommodation, day care, nursing services at home... The goal of this set of diversified, graduated and personalized services is to promote coherent accompaniment (on a non-stop basis or not) in a medicalized environment. The volunteer will be associated to a professional team and will participate to the assistance to the elderly persons for the daily activities, in various recreational activities (walks, cultural visits…) and for the preservation of a pleasant environment (tidy up…). In general, he will contribute to the well-being of the elderly persons. The volunteer will also participate to the creation of intercultural exchanges with the residents and will use his time to dialogue with the elderly persons.
TraducirAlojamiento, manutención y transporte
The volunteers are accomodated together in a building at the edge of the site. They share a big flat which is made of individual rooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom for shared use. Household appliances are available in order for them to be autonomous. They also have television and an Internet connection.
