Extremadura Solidarity Corps II (Placeat)

Opis projektu

“ESC II is a social project aimed to improve the quality of life of people with fewer opportunities, by organizing leisure and free-time activities with them, such as: sports, handicrafts, drawing, excursions, theatre, workshops of photography, walking, board games...7 volunteers are expected to partipate in this project, in different hosting organizations. Volunteering activities will be carried out in Plasencia, Spain. From 20th November 2020 to 20th August 2021 ( 9 months). Vacancies : - 1 Volunteer from Portugal, and 1 from Italy Hosting Organisation : Placeat ( Center for adult people with intellectual disabilities) www.placeat.org

Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

Volunteers will live in an apartment located in the center of the city with other european volunteers. Each volunteer will have his/her private room, and common areas to share with other volunteers: kitchen, living room, bathrooms, balcony. They will receive a pocket money of 5 €/day + 130 €/month for food. Volunteers will be given bus tickets to reach the hosting organizations, if needed. They will also have bycicles at their disposal. Round Trip’s costs to/from Plasencia will be covered until maximum: -Italy : 275€ -Portugal :180€

Szkolenia w trakcie projektu

The volunteer will participate to on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation provided by the National Agency in Spain. He/she will be registered on the Online Linguistic Support Platform for learn spanish and furthermore he/she will participate in workshops of conversational Spanish provided by the supporting organization and to talks and conferences about voluntary activities provided by the hosting organizations.

Profil wolontariusza

Volunteers, aged 18 to 30 years old,from Portugal and Italy high motivated, willing to help others, to collaborate and with initiative. Interest in intellectual disabilities, mental diseases and people at risk of social exclusion is required. Sport competences and basic Spanish would be appreciated.
