The objective of the work camp is to maintain and recover the old roads of the Vall de Siarb to show the importance of the conservation of our heritage. Know the uses and customs and understand the original meaning of rural roads and, consequently, rural life. This project aims to give a boost to the idea of transforming the Vall de Siarb into a future “museum of roads”. An open, participatory museum, alive to know the past of the Pyrenees on a social and cultural level through the roads

The accommodation is a terrain called Llavaners. Approx. 1000 m altitude near a small river. Isolated place inside nature. The volunteers are in charge to cook and to keep the area clean and safe: Volunteers will be splitted in groups, each group will prepare the food for one day and they will be rotating everyday

Fortbildung im Rahmen des Projekts

The activity to be implemented is the construction of a road museum that also has the support and involvement of the Ecomuseum "de les Valls d’Àneu" with the participation of international volunteers. The volunteers will be trained and supported by professionals of the field and also will be some other volunteers from the surrunding that will teach and accompain the volunteers in their experience.
