If you are interested for being a volunteer in the field of social responsibility, art-education and clinic animation, this is your dream project! There will be two EVS stages: Flow n.1: 01.08.2017-01.02.2018; Flow n.2 01.02.2018-01.08.2018. The activities developed in A.I.R. project will ensure the growth of competitive sense of the 7 EVS volunteers on the European labor market. They will be hosted in Bucharest for 6 months. Working in group (one from different countries) will promote active citizenship, volunteering attitude and they will develop initiative spirit and social entrepreneurship by doing clinic animation activities in hospitals, socio-cultural animation activities in schools and organizing fundraising campaigns. The EVS stage of A.I.R. ensures working with entrepreneurship and social marketing concepts in an intercultural context. The causes will target vulnerable groups, helping them shape eventual attitudes regarding their integration on the labor market.

Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

You will live in a flat rented for volunteers. The flats are provided with everything you need. Wireless internet access is provided. Cleaning the house is your job. Every volunteer will receive 120€ per month for food. In the common kitchen you can prepare food yourself. Other 60€ per month will be your pocket money. In total you will receive 180 Euro per month. You will receive a bus-ticket per month for the whole city of Bucharest, monthly metro ticket and a phone card of the value of 10€.

Szkolenia w trakcie projektu

During the first weeks they will receive some trainings regarding the methods to use for organizing a fundraising campaign, methods to use for clinic animation activities in hospitals and sociocultural animation activities in schools, in order to be prepared for the following activities. A.C.T.O.R. staff will assist you in this initial phase.You will also receive Romanian lessons by a very good teacher trained to work with youngsters with non-formal methods.

Profil wolontariusza

Volunteers must be young people (18-30 years old) motivated to experiment a non formal learning process in Romanian local community for social causes and then hopefully to export what learnt to their country local communities. No prior experience is required on the project topic. Candidate profile: motivated to volunteer and have an intercultural experience, adaptable and flexible, unemployed or at risk of being unemployed, open-minded, creative, with average knowledge of English, and emotionally balanced.
