Are you passionate about human rights, volunteering, community engagement, creating an inclusive environment for all? If you are between 18-30 years old and you live in Austria,France,Italy, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands and you love the topics mentioned above, the 6 months EVS project " Youth Power Space" is for YOU! The project aims to promote inclusion and civic involvement by empowering children and youth, including those with fewer opportunities to become Ambassadors of the community, supporting diversity, tolerance, initiative, critical thinking, equality, initiative to create a society build on the principles of democracy and respect for human rights. Main activities: inclusive programs for children and youth with fewer opportunities in Baia Mare, Cavnic, Copalnic Manastur, refugees centre from Somcuta Mare, own workshops Youth Power Space, personal development for children and pre-teens, clubs on leadership and civic engagement education, human rights, No hate, ICT, etc.

The volunteers will be accomodated in a rented flat with at least 3 bedrooms( 1 room shared by 2 volunteers), with kitchen, bathroom, and equipped with all necessary for living. The volunteers will receive monthly food allowance and the pocket money (monthly allowance) established y the Programe guidelines( 60 EUR/month) Traveling at the beginning of EVS to reach the host city and return one are reimbursed by the host organization in the amount established by Program guide. Local transport to the activities outside Baia Mare is supported by host organization.

At the beginning of their service the volunteers will have a 3 weeks training on topics as: induction about organization, structure, programs, methods, bylaws, ethic code, safety, protection and risk prevention, intercultural education, formal , non-formal and informal education, leadership, communication, conflict management,project management,media , working with children, Erasmus Plus, Youthpass, civic engagement, human rights, No hate Speech, inclusion, etc. During the service they will have also other trainings related with their work and courses that will foster competence development.

Young people with age between 18-30 who: - are citizens or legal residents of the Partner Countries - are enthusiastic , willing tho share knowledge, abilities, creativity - are interested and motivated to implement events, social inclusion and civic engagement programs/activities for kids and youth - are dedicated to this EVS opportunity - are interested about non formal educational - have basic English knowledge - are facing difficulties : socially, economically, geographically, unemployment, coming from minority, single parent, conflict areas, foster care, school drop out.

We have staff- coordinators and mentors prepared and experience to coach and mentor volunteers that face: cultural differences, social and economic obstacles, educational difficulties and geographical, working also in the previous year with volunteers and beneficiaries with similar background.
