Volunteer‘s activities are directly within EL RENAIXER, accompanying the professionals and the people served undertaking support tasks in the following programs from Monday to Friday from 9h to 17h including lunch time: 1. Workshop on job skills [Occupational activities] 2. Workshop on activities of daily life: shopping, support in the service of dining and kitchen, personal hygiene, money management 3. Workshops on sports: indoor football, basketball, bocce, Birlas, hiking, swimming, running and snow sports 4. Social Skills Workshop 5. Workshop on cognitive stimulation 6. Playful-creative workshops: kitchen, organic garden, Falla, artisans soaps, drama and facebook page 7. Leisure and cultural outings: cultural (museums, exhibitions, shows ...) and/or recreational (parks, natural areas, etc ...) 8. Travel: three annual trips are scheduled: snow sports outing; summer outing; hiking outing
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
+ Accomodation: EVS volunteer will live with other EVS volunteers in a shared flat with all the amenities based on social standards in the city of Valencia. + Food: EVS volunteer will receive the amount of 130€ at the beginning of each month in order to proceed to the purchase of their food, personal hygiene and cleaning products and only for this purpose. + Local transport: EVS volunteer will receive during their stay in Valencia, a monthly transport card which allows the travel in METRO and BUS
Formação durante a atividade
+ Spanish Linguistic training during the whole EVS mobility + EVS training cycle + Specific training related with the target group (People with Intellectual Disability)
Perfil do participante
There are no special neither specific requirements to participate in this project. Although we would like the EVS volunteer: + be flexible in the culture and way of life of the host country (in this case Spain) + be aware of the responsibilities that EVS volunteer will have as their involvement in the activities + be ready and accept the fact that they will have to share tasks of daily life + be willing to offer their own experiences and learn new + be open to a new way of living + be a collaborator + be respectful + have initiatives + be flexible
