The main objective for this project is to create, organize and implement models of nonformal educational activities for young people in rural area (Snagov community) as well as for the surrounding communities. 1. Social activities : • International evenings during which we aim to promote the cultural values of the volunteers country of origin; • Workshops that will facilitate the exchange in different fields; • Organization of events for different age groups; 2. Sport activities : • To organize teamwork games(football, handbal, childhood games etc); • Themed rides with the bike in Snagov forest; • Themed rides with the boats on Snagov lake; • To organize touristic orientation session with a compass and a map; 3. Educational activities: • Romanian workshops for the young people from the community; • Workshops that promote the non-formal education and the voluntary; • To organize information sessions in regards to the environment protection;

The accommodation will be in a rented apartment situated in the area where activities will take place - Snagov, Ilfov County. Volunteers accommodation will be done in one apartment (3 persons / apartment) which will be fully equipped with all necessary utilities such as furniture, water, electricity, gas, internet network, stove, fridge and all materials needed for volunteers comfort (linens, towels, duvets, pillows, hangers, pots, etc.). The apartment will be rented in Ghermanesti village where there is A4ACTION registered office. The travel costs for Latvia - EUR 275.00

Volunteer will be provided with Pre-departure training in Latvia before he or she leaves Latvia and also with On-arrival and Mid-term training in Romania.

We are looking for volunteer from Latvia with the age between 18 and 30 also, actively involved in an NGO in Latvia; •we value ambitious youngster, results orientated,willing to develop him/(her)self and interested in the following areas: •To promote the values of the European Union in the community where the activity will be held;•To promote volunteering and its benefits for young people; •To be willing to work with other young people with the age between 14 and 30 years old; •To promote the non-formal education with the youngsters from the respective community;
