As part of the Annual National Youth Meeting organised by the Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans and the National Youth Council, DG EMPL will organise a Youth Dialogue with the Deputy Director-General of the European Commission Andriana Sukova.
The main objective behind this Youth Dialogues is to contribute to the European Year of Youth by promoting the existing EMPL-related opportunities for young people and raise awareness about the Youth Employment Support Package, the Youth Guarantee, ALMA, available EU funds, and how to tackle issues such as social protection, youth entrepreneurship and quality traineeships and apprenticeships.
This Youth Dialogue would also provide an excellent opportunity to acquire a better understanding of young people’s needs and to involve them, as much as possible, in the policy-making, given that the issues addressed affect them first hand.

The event will take place on 15-19 June 2022 in Pernik, close to Sofia. DG EMPL’s Youth Dialogue will take place on 16 June 2022, which is the official opening of the event.
The event will be streamed on social media to open the dialogue to a wider audience. Participation on site is not open.
