Youth dialogue at FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL “NUEVA CULTURA JOVEN”

In the context of the European Year of Youth, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL) is organising a Youth Dialogue as part of an event organised by the national youth organisation, INJUEVE, with the support of national authorities. This event takes place on 23-26 June under the umbrella of the European Year of Youth.
The main objective behind this Youth Dialogue is to contribute to the European Year of Youth by promoting the existing EMPL-related opportunities for young people and raise awareness about the Youth Employment Support Package, the Youth Guarantee, ALMA, available EU funds, and how to tackle issues such as social protection, youth entrepreneurship and quality traineeships and apprenticeships.
This Youth Dialogue would also provide an excellent opportunity to acquire a better understanding of young people’s needs and to involve them, as much as possible, in the policy-making, given that the issues addressed affect them first hand.
