Are We Fit for 55?

For some time now, we have been hearing about the ambitious plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 (compared to 1990 levels).

The fit for 55 package includes several proposals to revise and update EU legislation. It aims not only to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also to be socially acceptable and not restrict competitiveness.

With the war in Ukraine, once again, the situation has changed considerably. So, what can we expect from the package? To answer these and other (your) questions, we have invited Professor Sebastian Oberthür.
