Official Start of the EYY-Open Citizens' University Launch Event

The Open Citizen's University aims to enhance citizens' access to important information, creating a suitable environment for discussion, co-creation of new actions and submission of new proposals, which inject current policies on important issues. These debates will take place once a month, February-December 2022. The launch event will take place on 28/2/2022 and will mark the official start of all activities that will take place as part of the EYY in Cyprus. The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, will address the launch event. Moreover, Ms. Themis Christofidou, Director-General of the Directorate-General "Education, Youth, Sport and Culture" (EAC) will address the event and participate in the panel discussion on the psychological effects of the pandemic on youth.
