The current project started from the initiative of 3 young people from Gheorgheni (RO) who were victims of cyber bullying
and did not know how to react because they did not have a preparation on this topic. Cyber bullying is a form of bullying and
harassment on the internet especially among youths. Anda Moldovan, one of the students came up with the idea to initiate a
project that will answer their need, empower youths to find solutions to cyber bullying. Participating in several E + projects
and realizing that more and more young people face online harassment has decided to contact her friends in the country
and other countries who have had similar experiences and bring them to ``fight`` against cyber bullying because:
- low level of understanding the differences between cyber bullying and freedom of expression on internet
- limited approach of the topic
- poor knowledge on how to cope with cyber bullying
- their motivation to fight back to cyber bullying, they contacted some of the participants from HU, MK and CZ that were
attending the YE as well and pitched their idea to them. They found it very useful and decided to contact our association to
support and help them organize the project, which we agreed on without hesitation.
Goal
Create an international non-formal context between12,0,-30,06 2022- in Bagaciu, Romania in which 40 young people from
RO, HU, CZ and MK share opinions and experiences on cyberbullying experiences, learn how to cope with online pressure
and especially with online aggression and to raise their awareness with regards to this phenomenon.
Objectives to be met by the end of the project:
1. Increase awareness of the 40 young participants from RO, HU, CZ and MK with respect to the phenomenon of
cyberbullying;
2. Increase the knowledge about the consequences of cyber bullying and prevention methods among the 40 young
participants;
3. Raise the level of precaution on the internet and the awareness of the cyber-bullying danger among 200 pupils (indirect
beneficiaries) from the partner’s communities.
