Take aways from the Dialogue

  1. Attraction and retention of talents and qualified personnel.  Young entrepreneurs have difficulties in  recruiting  employees with the right skills . these difficulties are experienced also with  young new employees. Investments and resources on STEM education and technical training are needed together with up-skilling and re-skilling courses.
  2. Support the digital and sustainable transition. The deployment of green and digital solutions are key for the future sustainability of the European economy and the success of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The promotion of better regulation principles and resources is fundamental in all the sectors of the economy, including in the traditional sectors (ie sandboxes aquaculture).
  3. Prompt payments. Liquidity issues, due to late payments, are a concern for young entrepreneurs who may have more difficulties in access loans and credits.
