Information & support for (young) people fleeing Ukraine

Última actualización Martes, 02/04/2024

The war in Ukraine continues to trigger refugee movements across Europe, with many Ukrainian families facing significant challenges in meeting their needs. Below you’ll find resources to find help if you find yourself in the situation of escaping the war in Ukraine as well as information about what the EU is doing to support Ukrainian civilians.

UNHCR support for refugees from Ukraine

The UN Refugee Agency is working with governments in neighbouring countries, calling on them to keep borders open to those seeking safety and protection.
In any other country: UNHCR - Help Service.

Victims support Europe

Provides relevant country-by-country information for the Ukrainian nationals fleeing to the EU on the available support and helplines as well as other resources.

Official websites at EU level

Online platforms

  • UA Talents. Job platform for displaced persons from and within Ukraine.
  • Ukraine facts by the international fact-checking network signatories.
  • EU vs Disinfo. It was established in 2015 to better forecast, address, and respond to the Russian Federation’s ongoing disinformation campaigns affecting the European Union, its Member States, and countries in the shared neighbourhood.

Support to Ukrainian refugees is a priority of Erasmus+ and other EU programmes

Supporting the integration of Ukrainian refugees is a top priority for EU programmes targeting youth such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.

  • Under the inclusion priority, Erasmus+ will for example support projects that promote educational activities and facilitate the integration of people fleeing the war in Ukraine into their new learning environments.

Youth-led projects are welcomed. You can apply to Solidarity Projects or Youth Participation Activities. We recommend that you contact your Erasmus+ National Agency for more information on how to submit your project proposals.
