Service civique in France

To be a volunteer, you must be aged between 16 and 25 (30 for people with disabilities) and be a national of France, a member of the European Economic Area (27 EU member states + Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland) or Switzerland.

Youth camps open to everyone aged 14 and over, volunteer workcamps are useful projects close to home.

Universal National Service (SNU)

This programme is aimed at all young French people aged between 15 and 17 who wish to invest in a society of commitment, built around national cohesion. It includes a cohesion stay and a mission of general interest of 2 weeks. Each young person can then pursue a period of commitment if they wish so.
