European Solidarity Corps
The European Solidarity Corps has existed as an EU-funded programme since October 2018, based on solidarity activities, with the aim of offering a unique gateway for organisations and young people who want to contribute to society in the areas that matter most to them. The European Solidarity Corps involves organisations and young people in projects promoting inclusion and diversity and equal access to opportunities, protecting, conserving and enhancing natural habitats and the environment, as well as environmental sustainability, contributing to the transition and digital literacy in order to engage and empower young people to be active in society and become real agents of change.
UN Youth Volunteers
The United Nations Youth Volunteer programme is designed for motivated individuals aged 18-29 who are eager to contribute to development and peace initiatives worldwide.
The United Nations Volunteers (UNV)
United Nations Volunteers (UNV) is based in Bonn, Germany, with around 300 staff members at headquarters. In 2024, there were over 14,600 UN Volunteers deployed in some 170 countries around the world. UNV has offices in New York and Tokyo, six regional offices in Amman, Bangkok, Dakar, Istanbul, Nairobi and Panama City, and 60 Field Units. Toily Kurbanov is the Executive Coordinator of UNV.
