Bratislavské dobrovoľnícke centrum

The civic association Bratislava Volunteer Center (BDC) was established in 2012. It offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities for individuals and volunteer organizations. It also develops its own volunteer programs and projects.

YMCA

The YMCA in Slovakia is a part of the YMCA - Young Mens' Christian Association movement spread throughout the world in 120 countries, reaching more than 58 million people. YMCA members strive for an open dialogue of Christian principles and values ​​in their daily lives, activities and programs: work for equal opportunities for all create and strengthen an environment with relationships based on mutual understanding and love to strengthen honesty, truthfulness and creativity to develop programs that promote the diversity and depth of Christian experience.

The main goal is to develop and spread the idea of ​​living in harmony with nature, with other people and with the needs of personal development (so-called harmonious life) not only through theory, but especially through practical activities.

Connectus

The main goal of the CONNECTUS association is to promote volunteer work and the principle of self-help in society, to support the integration of young people with fewer opportunities, and to encourage ecology, youth mobility, environmental protection, and sustainable development.

INEX Slovakia

INEX Slovakia (INternational EXchanges) is a civic association. It helps young people in their personal development through international volunteering, trainings for leaders of multicultural groups, informing about the benefits of volunteering and its development in Slovakia and abroad. It is the only organisation of its kind in Slovakia since 1993.

TOP-ART

TOP-ART is a sheltered workshop that provides people with disabilities the opportunity to develop their skills, create artistic products, and actively participate in society. The workshop offers clients a space for personal growth, support for independence, and work integration.

Platforma dobrovoľníckych centier a organizácií

The Platform of Volunteer Centres and Organisations was established in August 2011 as the result of activities carried out within the European Year of Volunteering 2011 and informal networking activities of volunteer centres, which started in Slovakia already in 2009. The main goal of the Platform is to support the creation of an environment favourable for the development of volunteering.
