4-12 November 2024: Commissioners-Designate Hearings

From 4 to 12 November 2024, the European Parliament will be assessing the suitability of Commissioners-designate for the roles for which they have been appointed.
Each Commissioner-designate will be evaluated by one or more parliamentary committees, depending on their portfolio. Additional committees may also engage by contributing oral questions. MEPs will have to assess the candidates’ commitment to Europe, their personal independence, and competence.
Today is the day to listen in on who’s advocating for you, the youth of the European Union. The confirmation hearing for Glenn Micallef, Commissioner-designate for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, will take place from 14:30 to 17:30 CET.
