Data dell'ultima modifica Mercoledì, 04/09/2024

The Council of Europe is offering a free 4 week part-time e-training for young educators (18-30 years old), media professionals and members of civil society and faith-based organisations. Participants from across the globe will develop notions of discrimination and exclusion, and a culture of peace and non-violence. Deadline to apply is 22 September 2024.

The online course, taking place between 7 October and 3 November, is structured into 4 modules. Those attending will have the opportunity to:

  • analyse notions of culture, discrimination, racism, majority/minority, inclusion/exclusion, as well as other elements of Intercultural/Interfaith Dialogue
  • develop specific competences to defuse and recognise potential conflicts, and actively promote a culture of peace and non-violence
  • promote networking among participants involved in global awareness-raising or educational actions, and
  • reflect on the concept, principles and methodologies of Global (Citizenship) Education.

The course is run by the the #iLEGEND III project and co-funded by the Council of Europe and the European Union (#euDEARprogramme). It's based on the CoE’s Global Education Guidelines and its collaborative and interactive exercises take on a non-formal learning approach. Two tutors will accompany the 40 participants, supporting learning at individual paces.

Apply via the online application form by 22 September.
