Call for Applications: Become a European Heritage Youth Ambassador
Síðast uppfært Fimmtudagur, 13/01/2022
The European Heritage Youth Ambassadors is a growing network of students and young professionals with a passion for our shared cultural heritage. Coming from all over Europe and beyond, they raise their voice through various platforms and activities.
The European Heritage Youth Ambassadors programme calls for young people residing in Europe to share their stories and experiences about heritage on online platforms (e.g. on social media, websites, or blogs), with an aim to engage more people in the field. At the same time, each European Heritage Youth Ambassador will act as a bridge between students and young professionals and European heritage institutions like Europa Nostra, ESACH, and the European Heritage Tribune, for the realisation of many more youth-led initiatives!
As part of the European Heritage Youth Ambassadors programme, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing heritage youth movement; to represent the voice of young people within Europa Nostra’s activities; to widely share your heritage-related experiences on social media; to participate in conferences and events; to engage in ESACH’s projects and activities, and to be a reporter for the European Heritage Tribune in your own country. This includes sharing relevant news articles about cultural heritage from your base country with the European Heritage Tribune, assisting the EHT editor-in-chief with translating articles and creating open-format blog entries.
The position is voluntary and requires an availability of at least 10 hours per month, including attending an online monthly meeting of 1 hour. The programme will start in February 2022 and will run for 12 months. For the first edition in 2021, 11 European Heritage Youth Ambassadors from different countries were selected. Hear what they have to say about their experience in this video.

The European Heritage Youth Ambassadors programme runs by Europa Nostra in partnership with the European Students’ Association for Cultural Heritage (ESACH) and the European Heritage Tribune (EHT).
