Discover new horizons and learn languages with OLS

If you love to explore the EU by studying, volunteering or working, learning another language will open many doors for you. Online Language Support (OLS) helps you master language basics.

The best way to learn a language is to engage all of your senses – which is what OLS offers everyone. Choose from 29 languages and start with the animated introductory videos. Then, try the ‘language basics’ videos and quizzes to start introducing yourself, meeting people, shopping, or getting from A to B. 

OLS for mobility participants

If you’re a mobility participant with Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps, there’s more. Once you receive the invitation link from your institution/organisation, you can register on OLS and take a language assessment to find the right level for you to start at.

You will have access to courses for 29 languages with quizzes, videos, listening and writing exercises. If you’re a vocational education and training learner, you can explore one of 10 topics, from logistics and catering to social work and healthcare. 

Every language has its own community where you can join discussions moderated by community managers. You will also get to participate in competitions and in online events, where you can meet your fellow learners.
