Join the seminar: Municipalities & Local Authorities Making Use of the Solidarity Corps

The seminar 'Activating citizens supports municipalities and local authorities in using the European Solidarity Corps' aims at fostering strong connections with youth organisations – ideally in tandems – to co-create a strong local engagement.
This online seminar is for youth organisations, municipalities and local authorities who support volunteering and youth engagement in their communities. This is an opportunity to explore ways to get young people involved in local activities, support their communities, and make use of European Solidarity Corps funding.
Participants of the seminar will:
- Learn how your municipality can benefit from the European Solidarity Corps programme
- See good examples from other towns and regions
- Meet other municipalities and organisations from across Europe
- Explore other EU programmes like Erasmus+ and CERV
Who is this event for?
- Youth organisations working closely with municipalities or local communities.
- Representatives of municipalities and local authorities with experience in European projects, especially those wanting to involve young people more actively.
- Staff from youth work or civic engagement departments in municipalities who want to learn about funding for local projects.
- Tandem applications (a youth organisation applying together with a municipality or authority) are highly encouraged.
