Data dell'ultima modifica Venerdì, 06/05/2022
The 9th of May is Europe Day and as a celebration, during the entire month, the EU institutions invite you to a wide range of online and on-site activities across the EU Member States.
Europe Day was born as a way to commemorate the signing of the 'Schuman Declaration', which is considered the beginning of what is now the European Union, on 9 May 1950. The ‘Schuman Declaration’ is a plan developed with the objective to secure long-term peace in post-war Europe.
This year more than ever, it is fundamental the importance of working for peace in Europe, as we highlight our unity and solidarity with Ukraine.
