Online Survey: Democracy and You!

The EU Children’s Participation Platform wants to hear what you think about democratic participation and how you want to take part in decision making.
The survey is available in all EU languages, and online until 12 May 2024
Who can take part?
Children and teenagers that are:
- 17 years old or younger, and
- Living in a country in the EU or citizens of the EU living abroad
What questions are we asking?
- If children and teens have enough say in decision making and should be able to vote
- What type of decisions children are involved in (political, budgeting, design of local places such as parks etc.)
- How children and teens want to be involved and included (surveys, in-person meeting)
- To hear about your own experiences and what you think would work best
What will happen to the things you say?
Your answers will be used to write a report which will be given to the European Commission and EU countries to help them improve the ways they include children and teenagers in democratic participation.
Survey results and the final report will be published on the EU Children’s Participation website.
