There are unique possibilities for the right volunteer. You will work at a primary school. The ESC volunteer will assist in teaching children (4-12 year) in Dutch craftmanship, sports, culture, music, and/or sustainability. This will take place during class lessons when some extra hands are needed, e.g. for reading and further small group activities, also after school. The ESC volunteer will develop new activities such as playing games during short breaks and lunch breaks. Depending on the interests and talents of the volunteer, he/she can help the professional with cultural activities, for example music, dance, acting, craftsmanship or physical education. During the summer holidays, the ESC volunteer will work outside the school. Primary School De Duinsprong (500 children of 4-12 years old). It is a training school for teachers.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Food allowance and pocket money will be paid. Bike is available. Dutch lessons are provided. You will be part of ESC volunteers and you will have your own room.
Formação durante a atividade
The volunteer will receive an on-arrival and mid-term training. Dutch lessons are provided (3 months).
Perfil do participante
Open-minded, social, energetic and creative youngsters who have affinity with children and are interested in music, acting, dance and craftmanship. Furthermore, he or she likes to organize and plan events and teach children.
